You may schedule online:

New patient visits are $150. Acupuncture first office visits include: examination, consultation, and treatment. Functional Medicine first office visits include a deeper dive into medical history and labs, deeper consultation and lifestyle strategies to get started toward your goal. Acupuncture Add-On service is available for Functional Medicine.

We are in network with Cigna, Blue Cross and Regence, and Triwest—please call our office to see if your plan covers acupuncture. If you have an auto claim or insurance plan that does cover acupuncture, we will be happy to bill your insurance. We do take VA. If you are a veteran, ask your physician for a referral to our office.

Otherwise, full payment is due at time of service.

Please note, a $35 deposit is required to hold your first office call slot. We require 24 hours notice before canceling/rescheduling your appointment. Late cancellation fee/no-show fee is $35. If you reschedule your first office call with short notice more than twice, we reserve the right to not schedule future appointments.

Prepare for you First Visit:

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Schedule your first visit on a day that you do not have much planned afterward. For some people they feel rather tired when their body goes into healing mode and it is best to just rest and/or relax that day if possible.

What to expect on your first visit:

The first visit is longer, you should be prepared to be in session for an hour to 90 minutes, since there is a lot of medical intake at the first meeting. Return sessions, however, are quick and you are in and out of the office in about 45 minutes.

The first visit you will need to fill out new patient paperwork (either fill them out online, they are emailed to you when you schedule your appointment, or arrive early so that you do not lose your treatment time filling out paperwork).

After consultation and examination, the provider may begin treatment with a first acupuncture session, if it is medically appropriate for your condition and constitution. This varies per person depending on their condition and length of consultation and the provider reserves the right to not provide Acupuncture on the same day as the first consultation and examination.

Wear loose-fitting clothes. You will not need to disrobe, but it is best to wear short sleeves and loose pants so that the provider can access treatment points.

Treatment is tailored to each INDIVIDUAL person based on the provider’s findings during exam/consult. You may or may not receive acupuncture on this first visit.

First session is $150, and lasts between 60-90 minutes. Return sessions are $80 and last between 30-45 minutes. Typically patients need at least 2-3 sessions to begin to get the benefit of treatment and to see results, so do not expect miracles on this first visit. Healing takes time, especially if you have been sick/injured for a long time.
