Treatments here at Lake Life Wellness Center are a little different than customary Acupuncture sessions that you may have experienced before in other clinics. Our providers are trained and certified in a variety of modalities, including Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Nutritional Counseling, Craniosacral and Massage therapy, Functional Medicine and more. Therefore treatments are customized to the needs of the patient and cannot be predetermined before examination. Most treatments will usually be a combination of several modalities, and can take several sessions to achieve your desired results depending on how complicated your health history is, environmental factors, and how long you have had the symptoms and dis-ease.

We do a full, comprehensive medical consultation and intake, as well as structural examination, in order to uncover the root causes of dysfunction (i.e. we dive deep into the whole health picture, not just the current symptom). After your initial exam and treatment, we have you come back within a week or so to see how your body responded to treatment, and then create a customized treatment plan from there. Every person is unique, and your treatment plan is strategized based on your findings, response to treatment and your overall health goals.

First Visit Th

This appointment includes the initial consultation, examination and may include treatment if it is indicated. We will do a deep dive into your medical history, current symptoms and health, and do a physical examination to assess your current health and your health goals. Acupuncture is usually done on the first visit, with a plan to have you return within a week to see how your body responded to acupuncture; and on the second visit acupuncture treatment, we will assess how your body changed or responded to treatment in order to create an individualized treatment plan for moving forward toward your unique health goal.
If you are interested in lab work or imaging review, and/or functional medicine lifestyle and health coaching, then please contact our office to change your appointment to a functional medicine with acupuncture treatment add-on service.

Return Visit

These appointments are Acupuncture sessions after the initial assessment in order to follow your treatment plan. These visits are following along your treatment plan or are for regular health maintenance–providing Acupuncture treatment indicated in your initial or re-exam reviews and does NOT include consultation, lab work review or treatment plan changes. These sessions are 30 minutes, and are treatment only.
If you have not been in for awhile, have had something come up that you need to talk about, have questions, or are in need of coaching, it is highly recommended that you schedule an Acupuncture plus Consultation visit in order to discuss changes or ask questions so that the Acupuncturist has the time allotted for discussion.
We recommend Re-examination visits at least once every 6 months, or if you have not been in to the office for more than a year or have had other health conditions come up.

Acupuncture Plus Consultation Visit

If you are in between your first treatment plan session and a re-examination, but you want extra time to talk to the doctor, this appointment gives you that time. Regular return office visit with 20 minutes extra time for discussion and questions.

Re-Examination and Acupuncture Visit

For re-exams, we sit back down and see where we have come with your health goals and where there is still need for progress, and address any questions you may have. This allows you to ask questions, discuss new health issues that may have come up, and includes an acupuncture session; may or may not include a revised treatment plan depending on findings.
This appointment slot is also for those still in their treatment plan but want time to discuss more health questions or concerns, new symptoms or generally need the extra time to discuss things that have come up.
Or if you are on maintenance care and have not been in for awhile, so you need time to talk with the doctor.

Cosmetic Acupuncture & Microneedling

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a combination of overall health and wellness, with facial rejuvenation acupuncture techniques on the face. Helpful for fine lines, lessening wrinkles, evening skin tone, reducing acne and rosacea, and helping to firm sagging skin.

Microneedling uses an oscillating device that penetrates to the dermis layer for an even more effective treatment outcome.

Ionic Foot Detox

Using a gentle pulse, salt water, and ionic coil, the machine helps to break up cellular debris in the lymph and circulatory systems and pulls them into the water through the large pores of the feet. It sounds crazy, but it is highly effective. You can actually see the debris, heavy metals, and/or candida in the water! And you will feel lighter afterward.

This is also a great add-on service to acupuncture if your treatments plateau, you’ve been exposed to heavy metals or chemicals, taken antibiotics or other medications, or have a bacterial overgrowth in the gut.

Insurance

We are in network with many insurance companies, but coverage varies widely between plans. Please call our office to determine your benefits. Please note that if your insurance denies coverage or does not cover the full amount, you are responsible for the entire service fee without the cash at time of service discount, which is 30% higher for processing and billing fees. We also offer “Super Bills”, which are an itemized invoice with your treatment insurance codes that you can submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement.

Ultimate Health Package: 12 Acupuncture visits, 1 Acupuncture and Consultation Visit, Plus Re-Examination and Treatment. Discounted rate $1,140 (savings of $185!)

Functional Medicine & Acupuncture Package: 3 Follow Up Functional Medicine Visits Plus 3 Acupuncture Treatments. Discounted rate $600 (savings of $120!).

Please note that packages are paid up front, before treatment. Any unused prepaid session is refundable at any time but then each used session reverts to the original full price not the additional discount. Discounted packages do NOT include the initial consultation visit, these are for follow up visits only. Can not be combined with insurance billing or other discounts. The clinic reserves the right to cancel or not offer packages at any time.
