Infrared Sauna

Our state-of-the-art infrared sauna uses gentle infrared light to warm the body from within, promoting deep relaxation and natural healing. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air, infrared heat penetrates deeper into muscles and tissues—making it ideal for reducing chronic pain, muscle tension, and inflammation, while supporting detoxification, circulation, and immune health.

Halotherapy Infrared Sauna

Our halotherapy experience takes place inside the infrared sauna, combining dry salt therapy with healing infrared light. The sauna can be set to full heat or a relaxing 88°F, depending on your needs. Halotherapy provides powerful support for asthma, allergies, bronchitis, sinus congestion, chronic cough, and post-viral inflammation by helping to clear mucus, open airways, and reduce respiratory irritation.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Sauna

What makes an infrared sauna different from a traditional sauna?
An infrared sauna uses infrared light to gently heat the body rather than simply warming the air around you. This creates a comfortable experience while allowing the warmth to penetrate deeply into muscles and tissues. Many people choose infrared sauna sessions to support muscle recovery, joint comfort, circulation, relaxation, and overall wellness.

What are the benefits of using an infrared sauna?
Regular sauna sessions may support relaxation, stress reduction, improved circulation, post-workout recovery, temporary relief of muscle tension, and healthy sweating. Many guests at Lake Life Wellness Center use our sauna as part of their wellness routine to unwind, recover, and support their body’s natural processes. Great addition to combine to your Acupuncture or Massage sessions.

How often should I schedule a sauna session?
The ideal frequency depends on your personal wellness goals. Some people enjoy a sauna session once a week for relaxation and stress relief, while others incorporate infrared sauna therapy more frequently for recovery and ongoing wellness support.

What is halotherapy or salt therapy?
Halotherapy, also known as dry salt therapy, uses a specialized system to disperse tiny salt particles into the air. During a halotherapy sauna session, you relax while breathing in the salt-infused air. Many people enjoy salt therapy as part of their wellness routine, especially during seasonal changes or struggling with respiratory (like cough, frequent illness) or skin (like eczema or psoriasis) conditions.

Do I have to use heat during a halotherapy session?
No. Our halotherapy sauna can be customized based on your comfort and wellness goals. Guests can enjoy the combination of infrared heat and salt therapy together, or choose a gentle, low-temperature salt therapy experience.

What should I expect during my first sauna session?
Your sauna session is designed to be relaxing and restorative. Wear comfortable clothing, hydrate before and after your visit, and choose a session length that feels right for your body. Our team is happy to help you decide whether a 30, 45, or 60-minute session is the best fit for your first visit.
