Meet Our Healthcare Providers

Dr. Jamie Davis

Licensed Acupuncturist | Functional Medicine Practitioner | Health Advocate

Jamie Davis, MA, MS, DAOM, LAc., is a licensed Acupuncturist and doctor of Chinese Medicine, and certified practitioner of Functional Medicine, with over 17 years of experience in the field. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her extensive education and clinical training, as well as a personal connection to the healing power of acupuncture.

Dr. Davis was first introduced to acupuncture in 2004 while pursuing a master’s degree in medical anthropology. At the time, she was struggling with a chronic illness that had gone undiagnosed for years, later discovered to be late-stage Lyme disease and its co-infections. Acupuncture provided her with profound relief from pain and illness, and it was this experience that set her on the path to becoming a practitioner herself.

After completing her MA in anthropology and pre-med requirements, Dr. Davis enrolled at Bastyr University, earning a Master of Science in Acupuncture in 2008. During her studies, she completed a one-month internship in Shanghai, China, where she worked in two renowned hospitals, focusing on stroke/neurological conditions and endocrinology. Driven by a desire to deepen her knowledge and expand her ability to help others, she went on to earn her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) in 2015, specializing in scientific research. During this time, she also earned a certificate in acupuncture for labor and delivery at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and participated in an internship at a neurological clinic in Taipei, Taiwan.

Dr. Davis’ approach to care emphasizes the importance of accessible, integrative healthcare. She is particularly passionate about providing holistic treatment to families, combining acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, lifestyle education, and her background in medical anthropology to promote healing, wellness, and cultural awareness. She is committed to supporting her patients’ well-being through an individualized, holistic approach that fosters both physical and emotional health.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Davis is an active researcher and writer. Her published works include:

Allison’s journey into acupuncture began during her studies in exercise science at the University of Montana, where she sought relief for her own hormonal imbalances. After experiencing the transformative effects of acupuncture, she was inspired to pursue a career in Eastern medicine.
